When credit unions were originally founded in the United States, most were organized to serve specific companies or employee groups – as were Members First, Powerco and Western. But, as credit unions began expanding their charters over the years to be able to serve the financial needs of more consumers, many employer groups started offering credit union membership as a benefit to their employees.
Today, Pathways Financial Credit Union serves the needs of over 400 companies throughout Ohio. If you are employed by one of these companies, you can become a member at Pathways, and so can your family!
