Online Banking Password Upgrades

Online Banking Password Upgrade Service Notice

As you may be aware from earlier notices in Online Banking, starting in March, our Online Banking provider released a security update by allowing passwords to be as long as 256 characters.

While the character expansion is a great thing, this will have an affect on a small number of members with longer passwords. Before this update, members were allowed to create a password greater than 10 characters, but the system would only temporarily recognize the first 10 characters as necessary for logging in.

Members who created passwords longer than 10 characters before this update will be prompted to create a new password, as the system only recognized the first 10 characters of the password they were using.

While we apologize for this inconvenience, this is a security update designed to better protect access to your account, and any new password you create has the potential to be longer and more secure than before.
