Pathways Financial Credit Union hosted an Art Show Open House for students of Franklin Heights High School on November 15.
Staff of the credit union’s Casino District branch at 750 Georgesville Rd. on the west side of Columbus welcomed students and guests to view the student art on display. Student artists joined their families, friends, Pathways staff, and other guests to view digital art and photography created by the students.
Branch Manager Maria Gonzalez presented a $100 Gift Card to Franklin Heights High School art teacher Sue Ly to help fund art supplies.
The Art Show features digital art and photography from Franklin Heights High School students Brandon Bartoe, Eddie Ferguson, Corin Hockingberry, Camy Ladadj, Walter Lee, Quantez Merchant, Juan Sanchez, and Zachery Temensky.
Credit union members and other visitors can vote on their favorite piece as “Best in Show” in the credit union lobby until November 30. The winning artist will receive a gift card from Pathways.
“Our new Community and History Wall provides us with a perfect space to show the talents of our local student artists,” said Branch Manager Maria Gonzalez. “We renovated our branch this year and dedicated a prominent place to show our continuing commitment to our community. We are excited to showcase the incredible talents of the Falcons’ art program in our inaugural Art Show.”
